Boy in the Moon is a deeply reported visual and narrative series created for The Globe and Mail, combining still photography and video to accompany Ian Brown’s intimate reporting on family, disability, love, and care. The work required sustained access, trust, and a quiet visual approach; allowing moments to unfold with honesty and dignity. The series received widespread national and international recognition for its storytelling and impact, and remains one of the most meaningful long-form projects of my career.
