Canada's Troubled North

Canada’s Troubled North is a documentary video series produced for The Globe and Mail in collaboration with journalist Patrick White. Shot and produced on location in Canada’s North, the work examines the social, economic, and human consequences of systemic neglect in remote Indigenous communities. The series required deep reporting, logistical resilience, and a careful visual approach; centering lived experience while allowing complex realities to speak for themselves. The project received national recognition for its investigative depth and visual storytelling.
