Ten years after the government of Newfoundland and Labrador moved the coastal community of Davis Inlet to a new location, I visited the new community, Natuashish, to document day-to-day life and the efforts being made to dissuade youth from drug and alcohol abuse and the cycle of suicide - the problems which had become epidemic in Davis Inlet which lead to the dramatic move a decade earlier. This is the story of Innu boys and girls visiting a traditional hunting camp on the shores of Lake Mistastin, where they could focus on their health, relationships and traditions. This is Hunting Demons in Labrador - a documentary story I photographed and wrote independently, which was published as a six-page spread in the Globe and Mail and online.
