An elderly lady inside the huge GUM store at Red Square in Moscow walks past some well dressed shoppers. The GUM store, filled with Nike, Estee Lauder, Benetton, and many other foreign shops is not a place where the average Russian can afford to shop. It is usually filled with tourists and well-to-do Russians.
