Green Point

Geological formation at Green Point in Gros Morne National Park, Newfoundland and Labrador on Thursday, August 23, 2018. Almost 500 million years ago theses rocks formed on the bottom of an ancient ocean. The vertical layers of rock and hidden fossils define the boundary between the Cambrian and Ordovician periods which makes Green Point a world geological benchmark. (Photo by Peter Power)
