Pine River Institute

I work closely with the Director of Communications at Pine River Institute to document the Outdoor Leadership Experience and on-campus programs. Operating as a self-sufficient, one-person production crew, I capture still images and video in challenging conditions - summer and winter - while maintaining the utmost discretion. Each assignment requires sensitivity, an ability to “read the room,” and a careful approach that respects the privacy of students while still conveying the spirit, atmosphere, and transformative nature of the experience. The resulting visuals highlight the culture, values, and moments that make the Institute’s programs unique, without ever identifying individual participants.
